Canteen
VPPS Canteen follows the government recommendations of Right Bite, and our menu is in accordance with this. We encourage parents and students to make healthy food choices by highlighting our menu in green options (eat often) or amber options (eat sometimes). We have a large selection of meals, snack foods and drinks. We offer vegetarian and gluten free options.
We have students who are allergic to nuts and nut products, so we are a nut free school.

We also offer Special Lunches from time to time.
Ordering from the canteen is either through the class tubs or by the Qkr App for online ordering. Qkr orders need to be submitted by 8:30am.

Volunteers are a crucial part of our Canteen and we cannot operate without them. At the canteen, we run a year 5/6 Canteen Assistant Program - a student volunteering initiative alongside our much-needed parent/carer volunteers. Volunteers are required to have a WWCC clearance and have completed the RHAAN-EC training before commencing as a volunteer in the Canteen.
